MEGA SHIPPERS: THE MILLION POUND MOVERS COMES TO CAMPBELTOWN!

Campbeltown New Quay was a hive activity last week due to the arrival of the ROTRA VENTE.

The New Quay was regenerated by the Council as part of a massive £12 million project to provide improved facilities for the renewables industry and cater for vessels of this scale.

The 142 metre long ship is taking the biggest towers sections ever built in the UK from CS Wind, to Belfast.

The transportation of the towers will be featured in a documentary for the Discovery Channel which is due to be aired June/July 2018!
