Arrochar on Screen

Our pretty village of Arrochar featured in the BBC 1’s addictive thriller “The Cry” on Sunday 21st October 2018. The Cry was the most watched programme in its 9pm time slot on Sunday, drawing in an average of 5.7 million viewers. The Argyll and Bute Council Film Office with the help of Roads and Amenity services were delighted to help Synchronicity Films Ltd bring the production to Arrochar and highlight once again why Argyll and Bute is such a desirable location to film.

Morven Ross, the Location Manager on the job described her experience “As a Location Manager, I found all members of Argyll & Bute Council incredibly easy to deal with and couldn't be more helpful. There are some incredibly beautiful spots which work well as filming locations and the locals are also very welcoming to a film crew.”
